OBJECT_DESCRIPTION_EN :

The builder is a human-scale puppet that uses the puppeteer's legs to move. The actress places her hands on the head handle and directly under the puppet's left hand. The puppeteer has a fabric collar with a carabiner, which allows the puppet to be suspended from the puppeteer's neck. The back of the puppet also fits into the bodice worn by the puppeteer, making it possible to support its full weight and directly manipulate both her hands at the same time. This possibility allows the puppet, at a given moment, to explore a musical instrument. Sometimes the puppet is also suspended in the scenery, a boat, and at the end there is a floating manipulation, where the fact that the puppet has no legs gives it this dreamlike character.

The puppet's torso has two openings used on stage, one on its belly and the other on its chest. The opening in the belly opens to allow lavender leaves to enter, symbolizing its inner fullness. The opening in the chest also opens, allowing a prop to be placed that comes out of the actress's hat, symbolizing a heart, as well as a stone that symbolizes her lungs. This symbolism brings this figure closer to the sense of belonging to a territory, the land, heritage, and tradition.
