OBJECT_DESCRIPTION_EN :

The crocodile figure, present in the “Castle of Ghosts” story, appears to accentuate the dramatic play of the figure of Dom Roberto who is trying to save his beloved Rosa. The origin of this figure's entry into the history of the “teatro de robertos” is unknown, but it is assumed that it may have two factors: the influence of mamolengo, traditional puppets from Brazil where the crocodile figure is also present, or the imagery of castle moats flooded with crocodiles that attacked anyone who tried to cross them.
