OBJECT_DESCRIPTION_EN :

This puppet comes from a traditional Portuguese toy that can still be found today at various traditional toy fairs. Next to the wheel that rests on the ground, there is a small figure, and the rotational movement of the wheel moves the figure's legs.

The puppet is moved in the same way as the toy, the manipulator holds the vertical rod and the puppet moves its legs and one of its arms as it pedals. The puppet is also prolific in color, but here it has a steampunk aesthetic that draws inspiration from Jules Verne's tales. It also has an industrial design inspired by steam engines or flying machines, to which Leonardo da Vinci's sketches contributed greatly, as well as the airships that existed as flying machines.

We also wanted to give the character a bureaucratic character, representing the order of destruction and an unbridled quest for transformation without respect for the existing traditional heritage. So, when this character moves, as well as his legs moving as if pedaling, his arms hold a stamp and a bundle of paper, which also rhythmically accentuate this bureaucratic side of the constant stamping of papers. His movement on stage is fast, accelerated and choreographed.
