OBJECT_DESCRIPTION_EN :

The strings on this puppet allow the legs to be articulated from the knees and the arms from the hands. The rod on top of the head also allows the head to rotate sideways autonomously.

This wooden puppet, which is later dressed up, is freely inspired by some medieval illuminures that allowed us to observe the manipulation that could take place in the medieval period. This puppet belongs to street shows, historical recreations, and is manipulated by different manipulators throughout the show. The marionette's simplicity of movement, however, allows it to perform on a small raised wooden stage with expressive qualities and movement.

As the puppet is small-scale, the actor sometimes controls one or two figures simultaneously, with the desired coarse quality of movement, integrating quite naturally with the characteristics of the show being presented.
