OBJECT_DESCRIPTION_EN :
This puppet, although resembling a tree branch, is actually a construction carefully crafted to simulate that appearance. It was created to be seen from two perspectives, either in projected shadow or directly visible to the audience. Its shadow is magnified in a fabric suspended near the backdrop, while the point of light starts from the stage front, allowing a game of different scales, on stage, with distances relative to the point of light.
The color shades allow for both concealment in the scenography and identification of the figure even if it is not projected in shadow, as it is manipulated by characters who are in full view of the audience, actresses who tell stories while manipulating the branches they carry on their heads. The manipulation is done directly by placing the hand on the branch itself and sometimes the hand is part of the projected shadow, hiding or allowing the figure to be seen.
