OBJECT_DESCRIPTION_EN :
Macaco Matias is a cheeky and petulant monkey in the text by Luís Sepúlveda.
This puppet is inspired by children's toys, since the play's dramaturgy is based on a story imagined by a boy who, while playing in his room, uses the toys available to tell the story.
Matias' characteristics are imbued with human traits, such as alcoholism, dishonesty and malice, which serve to create a strong contrast with the protagonists, the four cats and the seagull Ditosa. Their role as antagonists is important to move the narrative forward and introduce conflict, also showing negative human qualities, adding a layer of complexity to an innocent and moving story.
